Ongoing works on the renovation of the waterfront and the Stjepan Radic Square in Crikvenica are performed in accordance with the winning project of the office NFO from Zagreb.
In collaboration with the office NFO, Telektra has developed a modern lighting concept based on energy efficiency, particularly paying attention to light pollution. Guided by the idea that we are emphasizing illumination itself and the very essence of light, not emphasizing the luminaries, lighting concept was done successfully, by highlighting natural contrasts of the materials themselves and the environment. Complete lighting is controlled by a central control system, with the possibility of continuous regulation of urban road LED lighting, as well as creating of lighting scenes, considering the events on the square, and the frequency of events, and seasonal needs.
The concept of winning tender project aims at linking the coastal area in the path that stretches from Dramalj to Selca and integrate all the important contents along the coastline.
Avenue of as one of the main characteristics of the promenade wraps the Stjepan Radic Square, opening it to the sea and leaving enough space for all future events.
Square is deprived of strong interventions in order to meet the requirements for multipurpose use
Information space is subtly separated from the main square with a row of trees and with stairs from the road on the north and in this way was created more quiet area for gathering and sharing information.
Project will be finished in May 2013
